Royal Australian Air Force F-111 Aardvark (Australian Nickname - “The Pig”) Performing “Dump & Burn.”
In a “Dump & Burn,” the fuel dump is opened between the engines while the engines are brought to afterburner. A fountain of flame starts about five feet behind the aircraft. USAF policy denounces the practice, but the Australians loved it and would incorporate it into air displays.
